ARGE einwandaufbruch is an Austrian artist collective consisting of Heide Aufgewekt, Josef Danner and Georg Lebzelter. Their collaborative pieces are designed as work in progress, expandable and adaptable in terms of content and space. Arge Einwandaufbruch use graphics as a laboratory of signs, as a means of agitation as well as socio-political, provocative and poetic punctuation. Arge Einwandaufbruch deal with the complex relation of signs, text and space, the flowing boundaries between writing, static and moving images. As starting material serve mass media text / image fragments, pictograms and collages.
ARGE einwandaufbruch ist ein Künstlerkollektiv bestehend aus Heide Aufgewekt, Josef Danner und Georg Lebzelter. Ihre kollaborativen Arbeiten sind als work in progress konzipiert, erweiterbar, inhaltlich und räumlich adaptierbar. Arge Einwandaufbruch nutzen Grafik als Labor der Zeichen, als Mittel der Agitation, der gesellschaftspolitischen, provokanten und poetischen Zeichensetzung.
Arge Einwandaufbruch beschäftigen sich mit den komplexen Relationen von Zeichen, Text und Raum, den fließenden Grenzen zwischen Schrift, statischen und bewegten Bildern. Dabei dienen aktuelle, massenmediale Text / Bild Fragmente, Piktogramme und Collagen als Ausgangsmaterial.

The poster wall as demonstration wall
A European art project by Josef Danner/Georg Lebzelter in cooperation with International Print Network and EPAMEDIA. International artists place graphic signs on poster walls in the public space, April/May 2013. The main purpose: an artistic recoding of sign language in the public space using the poster as medium. The project MONEY MAKES VISIBLE aspires to place artistic messages in this purlieu to cause irritation in the "space of solicitation" usually occupied by financial ly strong businesses and to put up some resistance to the sales slogans through artistic means. Amidst the surfaces that are put to commercial use, philosophical and poetical signs will be placed into the public space.
